Grady Wayne Edwards
Grady Wayne had a heart of gold and a smile that would capture your heart the minute it came across his face. He always wanted to help anyone and everyone in need.
At an early age Grady wanted to be a clergyman in the military which eventually grew into wanting to serve and protect our nation as a Marine. He wanted to protect people who were unjustly or unable to protect themselves.
Grady loved everything country, he was a cowboy to the bone. He was learning to rope and ride and loved working cattle. Grady had a strong work ethic and put his all into every job he tackled. He was a young man with integrity and his word meant everything to him. Grady loved being outdoors; he loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Grady also enjoyed going to OU football with his brother and dad. Growing up he participated in many sports. He enjoyed wrestling, football, and soccer.
Unfortunately, Grady suffered several concussions and his dream of becoming a Marine was in doubt, and he lost hope. Grady is dearly missed by his family and friends.
Grady’s family would like to honor his memory by bringing awareness to how concussions affect mental health in hopes that in the future other young people like Grady and their families will have a better understanding of and available resources for getting help.
